A Message From the Dean - Dr. Lorie Cook-Benjamin
On behalf of Doane University's College of Professional Studies (CPS), thank you, for choosing us to pursue your educational goals. At CPS, we "LIVE Doane". This means leadership, inquiry, values, and engagement guide what we do each and every day to serve YOU, the student.
Your education matters to us. The handbook is designed to share expectations regarding policies and procedures that will assist you during your time with us. It was develeoped with input from many people and is regularly reviewed to further a quality educational experience.
You matter to us. We want you to learn, enjoy the learning process, and end every course with a feeling of accomplishment and pride in the work you have done. We want you to "Earn your Sheild". What does that mean, you might ask? To us, Earning Your Shield means promoting a campus environment that allows our students to create a life-changing, friend-making, learning experience that encapsulates so much more than just a degree. Earning Your Shield at Doane is unique because the little things make a big difference.
