Additional requirements:

  1. A total of thirty (30) credits in political science including PSI 101, 105, 325 (or 337) and 496.
  2. A maximum of three internship credits of PSI 421 and three internship credits of PSI 425  may be counted toward the major in Political Science.
  3. PSI 426 may not be counted towards the major.

Special Notes:

Students majoring in political science frequently pursue a career in law.  They also work in leadership and management positions, not only in government, but the private sector as well. Some political science majors eventually have a political career, and others become educators. Students majoring in political science often complete a second major or have considerable coursework in a variety of related fields such as communication, economics, history, management, marketing, psychology, and sociology.
