BIO 116 - Microbiology for Nurses II (2)

Provides students with a knowledge of microorganisms (bacteria, viruses, fungi and protozoa) and the infections caused by them. Upon completion, students will understand the etiology of infectious diseases and have an awareness and understanding of the significance and complications of infection. The knowledge gained will enable students to deliver improved patient management and control of infection.
