CST 495 - Computational Studies Seminar (0-3)Prerequisites: Students must have declared either the Computational Science or Computational Thinking minor, be of junior or senior standing, and get permission from a Computational Studies faculty member. A research or experiential project with a significant computational component developed under the guidance of faculty from the student’s major and from the Computational Studies Program. Completion of the project, including both a written and oral presentation, will demonstrate that the student can apply computational science/thinking principles and skills to a significant problem. Computational Science Minor students should ideally build a significant computational component into the senior research project required by their major. Computational Thinking Minor students should choose a computational project related to their major, either as part of a required senior capstone project or as part of a course or directed study.
