English as a Second Language Endorsement

Completion of one of the following majors:

1. Special Education  (complete K-12 ESL Endorsement)
2. Elementary Education  (complete K-12 ESL Endorsement)
3. A secondary teaching major (complete 7-12 or K-12 Endorsement)

Secondary education students completing the K-12 endorsement must complete the following:

• EDU 312 - Language Arts and Reading II (3)
• MTH 217 - Mathematics for Elementary Teachers (3) or EDU 318  
• EDU 338 - Children, Youth and the Family (3)
