Physics Advising Guide

Additional requirements:

1. Phy 225 to be taken within two semesters of completing Phy 201, 202
2. Phy 302, 306, 314, 325.
3. One of the following PHY 405, 435, or 4 credits of 471.
4. Four additional credits in physics at the 300-400 level.
5. The senior project sequence: 395, 495, 496.  RES 495 and 496 for 1 credit each may be substituted for PHY 495 and 496.
6. Cognates: CHM 125, IST 145, MTH 235, 236, 329, 337.

 Special Notes:

1. Students planning on attending graduate school in physics should take physics courses in addition to those required for the major.
