Requirements for the Art History emphasis:

  1. Complete the following Art Core:  ART 107, 110, 207, 214, 231, 235, 352/450

  1. Complete a minimum of 49 ART credits total: minimum 2 credits in ART 421 (internship).

  1. ART 204, 205, 211, 234, 260, 345, 354, 421 (2-6 credits), 461 (1cr.)

  1. Six credits of any foreign language

  1. ART 260 - Introduction to Professional Practices:  Prerequisites ART 107, 110, 207, 235, 204 and 205

  1. ART 461 - Advanced Professional Practices: Students with an emphasis in Art History may write a major research paper in lieu of the exhibition requirement.
