English, Literature Advising Guide

Nine additional credits in English (excluding ENG 100, 101, 326)

Additional requirements: 

1. ENG 330, 342, and 362 (9 credits)

2. ENG 301, 318, or 340 (3 credits)

3. ENG 102 or 285 (3 credits) 

4. At least 6 additional credits in English (excluding ENG 100, 101, and 326)

Note:  One foreign language literature course may be counted as a English literature course but cannot be substituted for a specific course requirement.

Recommended courses:

1. Activities - Xanadu and Owl

Special Notes:

1. First year and second year generally take at least one writing or literature course each term.
2. Third year take at least 2 of the five required courses each term or other advanced courses where scheduling warrants.
3. Fourth year complete all other required courses in the fall term.
