*transfer students may take 221 & 321 concurrently, but not 321 & 341

   2. ENG 205 (or 206), 231, 305, 306, 392, 393, 495
   3. Two of the following courses: ENG 101, 201, 302
2. Complete the following cognates:
   1. CMS 210, 220, JOU 105 (or 353)
   2. THE 103
3. Students seeking certification for teaching in English/Language Arts must also complete:
   1. ENG 323, 324, 325, 326
   2. All requirements listed under the catalog section Secondary Education

1. Students should meet with Dr. Linda Kalbach early in the fall term and should meet prior to preregistration each term.
