EDS 236 - Curricula and Collaboration in Special Education (3) A beginning methods course focusing on curricular modifications for students with high incidence disabilities. Students will explore legal and ethical practices for professional special educators. As a result of this course, the students will gain a foundational knowledge of special education including: development and implementation of classroom management techniques, adaptation of curriculum for learners with exceptionalities, use of effective communication techniques for collaboration, and use of evidence-based instructional strategies to enhance learning.
Prerequisite: EDU 211 , EDS 207 , or permission. Offered spring term.
