BUS 685 - Research Methods (3) This course provides students with the tools to design quantitative, qualitative, or mixed method research to address a research question. Upon completion of this course, students will understand the major types of social research and their purposes, the importance of theory in conducting good research, and the differences among three major approaches to social research. In addition, students will understand the types of qualitative research methods and under what conditions their uses are appropriate as well as the types of quantitative research methods and under what conditions their uses are appropriate. Pre-requisite: 24 completed MAM credits including BUS 613
