HIS 346 - Modern Eastern European History (3)

Students who successfully complete this survey course will demonstrate knowledge of the struggle for national independence by the people of the Balkans and East-Central Europe (Yugoslavia, Czechoslovakia, Poland and Hungary), and also gain a deeper understanding of the post-1945 Communist period and the dynamics of the transition from Communism since 1989.
