ENG 320 - Introduction to Critical Theory (3) This course will introduce students to concepts in 20th and 21st century critical theory. Students will read and discuss theories such as: psychoanalysis, feminism, post-structuralism, gay and lesbian theory, new historicism, and postcolonial theory. Students will learn the concepts and approaches of each theory and be able to apply the theories to literary texts.
