BUS 663 - Data Mining Concepts (3)

Prerequisite: BUS 634  or BUS 640 .
This course is an introduction to data mining, which is a process by which computers are employed to find data patterns and identify irregularities. Topics explored by learners include intelligent analysis of large data sets. Learners will use data to improve policies, detect fraud, and monitor the reliability of complex systems and will learn about the use of knowledge discovery tools and related technologies such as on-line analytical processing (OLAP).
