COE 633 - Human Development (3) This course is a study of the theories of human development from pre-school through high school including physiological, social emotional, cognitive, language, and cultural influences. The course will explore situations that impact development adversely such as poverty, bullying, trauma, and learning issues as well as strategies to promote human growth such as the 40 Developmental Assets. Students will be able to use this knowledge when planning a school counseling program.
