ACC 103 - Financial Accounting (3) An introduction to accounting, the language of business, for service and merchandising corporations. Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Understand and use the accounting equation;
- Prepare and understand basic financial statements;
- Complete all steps of the accounting cycle;
- Account for merchandising transactions; and
- Account for inventory, cash, receivables, plant assets & intangibles, current liabilities, payroll and corporate equity. Terms offered: Normally offered every semester on the Crete campus; at least once annually on the nonresidential campuses and at least once online
