ENT 201 - Introduction to Entrepreneurship (3) This course gives students direct experience in creating an entrepreneurial venture. Students will understand the needs of the marketplace, prepare a business plan, and then be given a small budget to purchase and subsequently sell a product or service. In the process, students will determine a viable strategy, gather required resources, and track the venture’s financial progress. They will learn the entrepreneurial process and common challenges and issues faced by entrepreneurs. In the end, students will reflect on the success or failure of their venture. Course fees will be used to procure the product to sell in the class.
