PSY 214 - Introduction to Biopsychology (3)

(Prerequisite: PSY 117   or permission.)
An introduction to the relationship between the brain and behavior. The course will emphasize (1) the anatomy and physiology of the cells within the brain, (2) their organization into functional systems, and (3) the relationship between the operation of such systems and psychological processes. Students successfully completing this course will demonstrate a general understanding of neuroscience and the biological bases of behavior.
