This course will examine the emerging role of generative AI as a creative collaborator. Students will explore how professionals and organizations use AI to enhance productivity and creativity, learning the iterative prompting, search strategies, and functional evaluation metrics that power these applications. They will practice integrating AI tools into diverse creative skill sets and their own projects, discovering how to maintain originality and human judgment while leveraging AI capabilities. Students will also develop new avenues for creativity in their careers, learning how to direct AI as a co-creator rather than a replacement for their own imagination.
