BUS 654 - Essentials of Business Analytics (3)

Organizational leaders need to have a foundational understanding of business analytics to effectively lead teams and manage projects. In this survey course, students will learn how to differentiate between the four main types of business analytics: descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive. Students will also become familiar with a variety of topics, including data management, data visualization, and machine learning, as well as commonly used technological and modeling tools. At the end of the course, students will identify opportunities for continued learning of the topics that are most relevant to their professional work.
