Environmental Science

Requirements for the Environmental Science Major:

Complete 1 or 2

Option 1

Complete the following courses:

Complete one course from the following:

Note:

CMS 210  , ENG 101  , and PSI 101  are strongly recommended. RES 495  and RES 496  for two credits each may be substituted for BIO/CHM/EVS 495  and BIO/CHM/EVS 496  .

Group A and B

Complete at least 9 credits from each group and at least one additional class from either group. Only two classes can be at the 100 level.

Option 2: Science Teaching

Environmental Science majors completing this option are qualified to teach earth science, biology, chemistry, and physics in grades 7-12.

Complete the following courses:

Complete A or B

A. Biology:

Select a total of two courses for at least seven credits, each from a diferent group. 

B. Chemistry:
