Requirements for the Natural Resources and Environmental Sciences major

Note:
Students majoring in the Natural Resources and Environmental Sciences major with an Agriculture and Natural Resources emphasis cannot also declare the Agriculture and Natural Resources minor. Students declaring the Environmental Science emphasis cannot also declare the Environmental Science minor. Strongly Recommended: CMS 210 Public Speaking (3), ENG 101 Eng Composition I: The Writing Seminar (3) Option 2: Science Teaching
The Natural Resources and Environmental Sciences Teaching option is a broadly based degree program for students wanting to teach secondary education and get a Science Field Endorsement. This major meets the requirement for certification to teach biology, chemistry , physics, and earth science in grades 7-12. Complete the following courses:
