CMM 335 - Investigative Journalism (3)Prerequisite(s): CMM 113 , CMM 360 Students will learn the process and ethics of investigative journalism, of identifying, developing, and reporting out stories about topics that are important, not well understood, hidden, and/or that are not well covered by the 24-hour news cycle. After completing Investigative Journalism, students will, among other things, learn how to: select a subject to investigate; identify, cultivate, and interview sources; identify, search, and, if necessary, request public records; package and present the findings for a variety of platforms; and work on a team.
