This Employee Handbook (“Handbook”) is provided to educate employees about the personnel policies of Doane University (“University”). This Handbook applies to all University employees, on all campuses, unless contradicted by the terms of a specific handbook applicable to a particular class of employees such as faculty, in which case the terms of any handbook applicable to a particular class of employees shall control. This Handbook does not create a contract for employment and does not alter any employee’s status as an “at will” employee. Either the employee or the University may terminate the employment.
The University retains all authority to interpret the provisions of this Handbook and to determine applicability or inapplicability of its provisions to the particular facts of any given situation. If you have any questions with regard to the policies contained herein, please contact your supervisor, the Human Resources department or the Vice President for Finance.
