PED 450 - Health and Physical Education Methods for Elementary Students (PK-8) (2) A course offered to those who are not seeking Teaching Certification in physical education. Course work includes strategies for teaching activity breaks, academic accelerators, movement activities for skill acquisition, and health/wellness measures appropriate for elementary-aged children (PK-8) in school and recreational settings. Also, obtain knowledge of movement activities and health/wellness resources. Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able develop activity breaks, academic accelerators, movement activities for skill acquisition, and health/wellness lessons for future elementary classrooms.
