BIOX 125 - Biology I (4) In this introductory biology course, students will become familiar with the nature of science and the ways in which scientific tools are used to investigate living systems. Students will understand the basic structure and function of cells as organisms and as part of multicellular organisms. Students will become familiar with the history of genetics and understand how cells reproduce and how information is transmitted from one generation to the next. Each module will be accompanied with an online laboratory.
