2. ENG 202, 238 or 285
3. ENG 312 or 316
4. ENG 485, 496 or 497

Recommended courses:

1. Students interested in poetry are recommended to take ENG 202, 316, 496.
2. Students interested in fiction are recommended to take ENG 238, 312, 497.
3. Students interested in creative non-fiction are recommended to take ENG 285, 312, 485.
4. Activities - Xanadu and Owl

Special Notes:

1. First year and second year generally take at least one writing or literature course each term.
2. Third year take at least 2 of the five required courses each term or other advanced courses where scheduling warrants.
3. Fourth year complete all other required courses in the fall term.
