Additional requirements:
- A total of thirty (30) credits in political science including PSI 101, 105, 325 (or 337) and 496.
- A maximum of three internship credits of PSI 421 and three internship credits of PSI 425 may be counted toward the major in Political Science.
- PSI 426 may not be counted towards the major.
Special Notes:
Students majoring in political science frequently pursue a career in law. They also work in leadership and management positions, not only in government, but the private sector as well. Some political science majors eventually have a political career, and others become educators. Students majoring in political science often complete a second major or have considerable coursework in a variety of related fields such as communication, economics, history, management, marketing, psychology, and sociology.
